| Before Classes Please ensure hair
is in a secure bun at all times. If short, hair must be kept away
from the eyes by a headband or secure clips. No jewelry is allowed
to be worn at any class - with the exception of small ear studs.
Tiny Tots & Primary The uniform for
these grades is a white leotard, pink ballet shoes with elastic
and flesh tights.
Grades 1-4 The leotard is black with flesh
tights with elastics for grades 1 & 2, ribbons from grade 3
upwards.
The Majors (Intermediate Foundation & above) The leotard
is either navy or black (any style appropriate to students body)
with flesh tights and shoes. Pointe shoes must be brought to all
classes. It is necessary to have a second pair always available.
Tap The standard uniform is the school’s
jade leotard, matte tan tights and tan coloured shoes with hair
always in a bun. These standards are necessary for not only class
but exams and performance.
Jazz & Contemporary The standard uniform
for both is the school’s jade or black leotards with matching
bike pants (HOWEVER THESE PANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN TAP OR BALLET)
Flesh or skin tone stirrup tights for contemporary and black jazz
boots for jazz however Junior Jazz ONLY have tan. Hair must be worn
up and away from the face.
Please Note ALL Students A hand towel,
hair brush & pins, small drink and deodorant (where applicable
to age) are standard requirements within the ballet bag. Tracksuits
are available in cooler weather.
Special Note This uniform has been designed to create a sense of
belonging and uniformity, and assists in setting the Academy's standards. Parents and students should observe these dress standards at all times to promote

Self discipline
Children will not be allowed to attend class with
their uniform in a continuous state of disrepair. All uniform leotards
are available from Miss Annette Ashenden. All other ballet requisites
from Gold Coast Dancewear.
The Academy has disallowed the wearing of sweatpants at all times,
however, woolen overtights are permissible during warming up in
cooler months.
It would be appreciated that all fees are paid
4-6 weeks of issue, to prevent penalties that would cause extra
expense. Please advise if there are family problems preventing payments.
Costumes A fee per term is made by each student as a deposit for payment of costumes, to be credited back at concert time.
